The group is described in Australia (where it started) as one of the fastest growing cults in that country. From it origin in Tasmania, Australia, the group has spread to Queensland, and also New Zealand and the United States. Separation of families has occurred in Australia due to the group, which uses strong mind control to get money out of followers. The Australian Fair Trading Minister, John Watkins has named the group as an unfair trader under Section 86A of the New South Wales Fair Trading Act.
